Consisting of three members of Engraved, the idea behind this project is strictly Death Metal with technical and Black Metal influences. With Yegor as the core writer of the band on Lead Guitar, Kyle Quintin on Drums/Vocals, Craig Breitsprecher on Bass, and Mike Lachapelle on Rythem Guitar the Decapitator dishes out technicality and blasts left and right. Influences vary from many bands (such as the godfathers of Death Metal themselves, DEATH, as well as artists such as -but not limited to- Visceral Bleeding, Pig Destroyer, Spastik Ink, Obscura, Opeth, Naglfar, Necrophagist, Anata, Aeon etc.) and styles of Death & Black Metal all to complete what is to be known as the Archaic Decapitator. Welcome to the life of execution and our extremely Archaic Ways of Decapitation!
