In 1979, with 14 years of age
I discovered punk-rock and I guess I felt it!!!
In 1980, I joined my first
band "SEXUALTÄTER" as a
guitar-player and we were horrible!!!
In 1981, I joined a band
called "INFERNO" which was one
of the first HC-Punk-Bands in Europe, we released 2 full length albums
and 1 live-album and got famous among the hc-punk scene all over the
world, we were wild, fast and energetic but still horrible.
In 1986, I broke up with "INFERNO", moved to West-Berlin
and joined two West-Berlin HC-Punkbands called "NICKANUKE" and "VELLOCET". With both bands I
recorded an album for "Destiny
Records" and went on tour in entire europe.
In 1988, "NICKANUKE" and "VELLOCET" broke up and I
founded a new band with my new best buddy Dave Pollack (also known as the
chief of "Destiny
International
Toorbooking & Records"). It was supposed to be a real rock-band
with punk, hc influences. We were called "HappyHour".
Between 1989, "HAPPY HOUR" toured several
times through entire europe and recorded 2
EP´s and 2 full length albums, after to many lineup-changes we
broke up in 1992.
In 1992, I recorded CD with a
Death-Metal-Persiflage called EMBRYO
KILLERS with my friends Dave
Pollack and Barry Ward
( RKL, GWAR,
CROSSTOPS).
Great, funny shit.
In 1993, I founded the famous
german "Aggropop" (aggressiv
popmusik) band "TERRORGRUPPE",
together with "Johnny Bottrop".
From 1993 until 2005, we played around 800
Shows all over Europe, Brazil, San Francisco etc..., "TERRORGRUPPE" released around 8
full
length albums, 21 Ep's and 1 anniversary
compilation album. Most of the albums are still available on "Destiny Records",
"Epitaph" and
"Universal". By the way, in Terrorgruppe
I was lead singing and guitar playing and they called me Mc Mothafucka!!
In 2005 we stopped playing
live-shows with "TERRORGRUPPE".
We
became lazy and afraid of the routine. But the next projects are
already in production. A
TERRORGRUPPE-PUNKROCKUMENTORY DVD and a full length album only
in english language called RUST IN PEACES. ..
..
During all this years I was very interested in the creating part of the
recording process, which brought me always in the position of
co-producing or producing the recordings of my own bands.
Since 2002, I'm officially
producing records and music-DVD's like THE
MOVEMENT's albums: MOVE
and REVOLUTIONARY
SYMPATHIES, the DECONSTRUCTION
TOUR PUNKROCKUMENTORY DVD called "Appetite For Deconstruction" and
the actually album of the german rockers "THE
CREETINS" etc.
New Shit!! I'm a restless and constantly struggling musician who can't
stop writing and developing. So of course I'm working on new shit all
the time. One projekt will be the first
dadaistic hardpop band in the world called BEELZEBOB. For your better
understanding! BEELZEBOB's
music is gonna be something inbetween AC/DC
and DEVO.
The other project is an accoustic-band-projekt I want bring on
stage in 2008. I don't have a
name yet.
We used to be called "Mumrik" that was looking for a singer and now we finally found a singer and the band name became STM since we are working together at a distance of 6000miles from Leeds, UK to Kyoto, Japan. And we uploaded 3 songs now. Check them and let me know what you think. Thanks.
