(my most recent filmmaking endeavor)
FOUR EYED MONSTERS is a feature film I co-directed that was nominated for 2 spirit awards and was the first feature film to be uploaded to YouTube.
The film is available in select Borders Book Stores nation wide. It also comes with a compilation CD with all kinds of music affiliated with the project.
You can also see it on IFC TV which is on Direct TV and a few other cable providers.
Join OURSTAGE and I get 1 dollar, it costs you nothing to join, and you can check off the stuff to not get emails from them. It's a good easy way to support my filmmaking.
Many of you may not know that during the past few months I have been working with a good friend of mine to develop a web page for her Children's Christian CD titled "You Are..."
My wife Katie and I met Melissa Z (aka. Miss Mel) through our church’s kid’s choir. Katie and her developed a friendship. After chatting one evening about things going on each-others lives, Melissa said that she was in need of web design help, but did not know anyone who knew enough about it… Additionally she didn’t have the funds to pay someone to put one together. Well, Katie (being the loving wife that she is) said, “Luke can do it!” Of course I was glad to be able to put the skills that have been developed in me to good use. So… without further dilly-dallying…
I am happy to announce that we are finally finished with the website!!! Come check it out!
The CD will be made available to the public on July 21st, 2008. Take a listen to some of the song clips for a sneak peek at how the CD sounds and forward this link to any of your friends or family who may enjoy these new songs. Remember to visit the guest book and leave a note! Also, we would very much like to keep you informed on the latest events coming down the pipe, so this is a good time to mention that you can sign up for the newsletter as well!
I have a friend who needs some contracts for the rights to use some songs from a band in his movie. His movie is due pretty quick here, do you know anywhere where I could get copies of the two contracts. I know you can type them out yourself, but he's crunched for time, and the only places I've found so far are places that charge you for 'em. Could ya hook a brotha up?
When you get done with your editing(and get tired of the heat in Spartanburg)why don't you come up to the mountains for a visit. Here's a little scene from our last show at Duckpond with Rising Appalachia. Nick
Please kindly change your location from Spartanburg, so that I do not get drunk one night and try to seek you out in my fair city as you are no longer here.
