One of the hardest working independent bands in the world, Ventura, California’s Army of Freshmen has been together for more then a decade. During that time they’ve played over 1,000 shows in 10 countries and 43 states, released 4 full length records and in the process have built a devoted international fan base.

Known for their energetic and fun live shows, the 6 piece dual keyboard rockers 4th record, "Above the Atmopshere", is out now and available for purchase at iTunes, aofmerchstore.com and at all shows.

Army of Freshmen spent the majority of 2007 and 2008 on tour around the world playing in countries like Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, France, England, Scotland and Wales as well as performing twice at England’ Download Festival, one of the largest rock fests in the world. In addition the band headlined two tours of the United Kingdom where their most recent video “No One’s Famous” hit the top 10 on several video channels in the fall of 2008.

Army of Freshmen are also co founders (along with Bowling For Soup) of the annual Get Happy Tour, a fan friendly, all ages package tour. Along with founders, AOF and BFS, the most recent Get Happy tour featured The Bloodhound Gang and Zebrahead. AOF also appeared on the Get Happy Tour’s sold out showcase at the 2008 SXSW Festival in Austin alongside BFS, Presidents of the Unites States of America, Wheatus and Ludo.
