Vocalist Brian Hamrick (Dirty Finger, Blue Mans God) has worked in other bands, but none of the previous bands were quite what he was looking for. Guitarist David Phillips, bassist Wes Sparks and drummer Chris Peavy (Paradox) stepped away from their first project . Guitarist Tony Rohrbough (Byzantine) was willing to give this new opportunity a chance after being contacted by what would be later known as A Road Eternal.
