KIKE G. CAAMAÑO : MEJOR GUITARRISTA DE ROCK NACIONAL 2008 PREMIOS CARLOS PINA RADIO 3 - (BEST SPANISH ROCK GUITARRIST 2008). Asha nace a finales de 1987 como proyecto de su guitarrista y multi-instrumentista Kike G. Caamaño para una Demo instrumental junto a Javier Lamarca y Joe Quitzke .Tal fue la repercusión que cada tres meses edita un álbum entero en formato demo bajo el nombre de “Projects” , realizando 14 en dos años (más de 140 canciones editadas) .Kike es elegido como uno de los mejores guitarristas del territorio y graba en los estudios de Radio Nacional como premio por mejor maqueta del año.En 1992 edita su primer disco : “Undrawn Landscape” que vende en Japón , Brasil y Suecia con colaboración de Jonás Molbeck · Discografía : “Asha II” (1994) con Miguel A. Paredes, Juan A. Soria, Alicia Tenorio y Anita Rowe de Hermanas Sister a las voces, Boris y Paco Yáñez .

En 1996 , Kike crea su propio sello discográfico. Sale “Faithfully Yours” con Frasco Ridgway (Efecto Mariposa) , Miguel A. Paredes, Juan A. Soria, Jasón Serle, Alicia Tenorio y Claudia Aroli a las voces. “The Eternal Blue” (1998), recopilatorio con remezclas y nuevos temas con colaboración de Raúl Osuna entre otros.En 1999 edita un nuevo proyecto junto a Juan A. Soria : "Ku" cuyo primer disco "Grime" se orienta hacia terrenos más duros ."You Won..t Hear A Word Here" (1999), disco instrumental. A partir de ese año Kike hace bandas sonoras para obras de teatro a nivel nacional . "Best Of Projects" (2000) editado por demanda de sus fans. "Waiting" (2001) con Juan A. Soria, Daniel Rivas y Helena Simmandan .Gracias a la repercusión de Asha en el extranjero Kike es invitado para un cd tributo a Status Quo junto a Juan A. Soria. "Civilized Stress" (2003) con Miguel A. Paredes, Javier Lamarca, Marcus Nand (Elements Of Friction, Ziroq) y Luis Rivas Perpén :
disco del mes en la revista internacional Kerrang! (Febrero 2004). Asha es elegida mejor banda extranjera del 2004 en la revista escandinava Monster. “A Path Across the Elegance” (2005) con Miguel A. Paredes a las voces y "Gallery Of Thoughts", un disco que ha alcanzado gran éxito entre los medios y editado en el 2008 terminan la trilogía sobre el ser humano y su interación con el mundo que nos rodea.
Kike G. Caamaño ha colaborado recientemente en varios tributos internacionales a bandas como Uriah Heep y está trabajando en varios más que están en proceso de realización. También podéis escucharle en los dos primeros discos de la banda Caradefuego. La banda goza de una gran reputación fuera de nuestro territorio aunque desde hace ya unos años sólo funciona en estudio.
Asha was conceived at the end of 1987 as a project of the guitarist Kike G. Caamaño to record a three-track demo. This demo was very well accepted by radios and press so he decided to release a new recording every 2-3 months, with enough songs to make a normal album. They were called "Projects". From 1987 to 1991 Asha released 14 Projects with great success and attracted many new fans. More than 150 songs were recorded.
In 1992 was edited their first official album , “Undrawn Landscape” an instrumental one which sold even in Japan. “Asha II” (1994) mixed instrumental and sung songs. “In Harmony With Shame” is the heaviest of them and “Faithfully Yours” includes six different singers!! The Eternal Blue is release in 1998 and contains songs from the four first albums with new remixes and new songs. This one sold in countries like Mexico, Sweden or Holland. Due to the public demand, the band release in 1999 another complete instrumental called “You Won..t Hear A Word Here” which was aclaimed by the press and radio critics , selling in different countries. Kike G. Caamaño starts to compose some soundtracks for theatre doing many works since 1999 to nowadays.
In 1999 Ku was born. Kike G. Caamaño with Juan A. Soria release “Grime” a 90..s Metal album which reached the best critics in Metal magazines in 2000. Due to the public demand again, Asha released the “Best Of Projects” in 2000, which includes 13 songs from the more than 150 songs written in the “Projects” years.
Asha edited in 2001 his most risky project ,“Waiting” with collaborations from other musicians and incluiding different mixes in a new musical direction into the Asha world .
At the end of 2003 the band release “Civilized Stress”, a great rocker album with fantastic reviews along Europe and considerate Album Of The Month in Kerrang! Magazine in February 2004 with Miguel A. Paredes. "A Path Across The Elegance" (2005) contains some great music pieces incluiding the selftittle 25 minutes song.
Kike G. Caamaño has collaborate in some different International Tributes Cds to bands like Status Quo, Uriah Heep, etc… They will be released soon. Asha’s latest CD “Gallery Of Thoughts” is getting rave reviews in european music press. It is a must listen for all lovers of high energy rock from progressive to in your face and everything in between .

YA A LA VENTA LAS ENTRADAS PARA LA PRESENTACIÓN DE ALHANDAL EN EL TEATRO DE LAS LAGUNAS
Se acerca la esperada fecha de la presentación de Alhandal en eléctrico, cita que coincide estos días con la publicación del segundo sencillo del próximo disco del grupo, Raíces. Con este motivo y con el fin de hacer llegar su música a todos, la banda regalará el disco "Ininteligible 2.0" a todas las personas que asistan al evento cuyas entradas ya se encuentran a la venta en las taquillas del Teatro de Las Lagunas.
Los tickets, numerados por asiento, tienen un precio de 5€ y con su adquisición se regalará el citado disco. El horario de venta al público es de miércoles a viernes de 17:00 a 20:00 y dos horas antes el día del espectáculo.
