This page is a tribute to Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band, who formed in 1999 as a side project for a few members of Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Since then, their sound (and lineup) has grown and evolved into something purely distinct -- something that could only be described as A Silver Mt. Zion.
The band has released five full length albums and one EP. Its latest recording is 13 Blues for Thirteen Moons, which was released in March. They are currently touring.
