Most things - classical music (tenor in a couple of choirs and orchestral clarinettist); through most pop music from the 50s.
Great fan of Northern Soul and current indie, conversely I can't stand heavy metal or rap. In other words, if it's proper music with a tune instead of shouting - I'll like it.

About me: Author of Asp Bites and editor of off-shot blog Asp's Musical Bites.
This myspace is purely from the musical perspective, looking around for new talent and also some existing bands.
As a cheap plug, I'm available for any freelance music journalism work - professionally I'm a poor student, so need the money...
cheers for the comment and the review it was very good apart from the bit about my voice (ha ha only joking, i don't bruise easy). anyway thanks again, and take it easy. chazz and the rest of T.C. E
Hey man, thanks for the kind words and the really good writeup, mind if we quote you on some things, particularly fond of "intelligent and amusing in equal measure".. good stuff. If you know of any good venues near you send us a message cos we'd love to play around the northwest, have been trying to get somewhere in Manchester for example but don't really know the city too well. Anyways, thanks again man. drop us a message some time.
Thank you for having our sorry souls.... Cheers for the words fella, it's nice that you took the time to have a listen, much appreciated :) I see you like "the music" I like them to, still remember that cool vid of them fighting against the wind... Have a great week! Keep on rocking!! FR
thank you for the blog mention! and thanks for your kind words..its cause of the support we get from the people like you that allows to keep going :0) David.
Hope your all good, playing a few shows soon and would love you to come down and check em out!
I have a new tune on my page that you can download - its a little acoustic number that I think you may like... got some new studio planned stuff in the pipe line as well.
nice one about the blog. really appreciate that and your views, its honest! Sorry about teasers. Its the record label and with so much piracy takin place...thats what we've had to do. :(
Hey. Thanks for the comment. I just read the blog. Fair enough, i'm happy you like 'I Feel Disaster' and 'Think With Me'. The other songs on there are demos of songs that I have to come, which i've been sidetracked doing them whilst recording my album. I think that made sense:) I'd like to send you my album when it is done, maybe it'll make more sense as a whole. I hope:)
Hi Asp. Thanx a lot for checking out our music, the comments and the addition to your blog. Must admit that I targeted you as I saw that you write a great blog and enjoyed discovering new music. I totally missed the bit about you hating heavy metal!! Anyway you were most kind and we appreciate that. Keep doing what you do so well and you know where to send any contacts who like to listen to some louder tunes. Sam.
Cheers dude - going back to my acoustic roots this summer playing at a few festivals - def come and check a gig out as that would be great and thank you so much for your kind words -there will be some new tracks posted up soon so I will let you know as soon as they are up.
