From Singapore, aspidistrafly is April Lee (b.1984) and Ricks Ang (b.1980). April is a vocalist, composer and artist. She contributes all artworks and films. Ricks is a composer and producer.

In 2008, aspidistrafly released their first full-length album "i hold a wish for you" (Kitchen.) aspidistrafly has also contributed materials for media art performances and installations as well as live performances in Japan and other Asia Pacific cities. In April 2009, aspidistrafly completed a 5 city tour around Asia.
