ASSIMILATION BIOGRAPHY
Out of the cold winter of 1998, Assimilation emerged on the south side of Chicago. Assimilation is a collaboration of five musicians who are committed to providing you the ultimate Rock experience. We put on an original, alive, energetic performance that spills the lifeblood of Rock and Roll on to the stage and feeds it to the fans. There have been line-up changes throughout the years, but the driving guitar riffs, unique lyrics, thunderous drums, and versatile vocals mixed with an unmistakable groove has always been a staple of the band.
A lot of people ask us who our influences are. Musically, we are influenced by pretty much everything. Start with your favorite hard rock band, mix in some of the classic rock your parents love, add a dash of funk and pure punk rock attitude, then you have Assimilation. Bottom line, we are influenced by life. Our music is an outpouring of what happens in our daily lives. Life is a bitch, and Assimilation is there to help you forget your shit. If you need more than our music to forget your daily hell, come to a show and you won't have to drink alone.
Assimilation takes pride in being professional, on time, and willing to communicate and work hard at every turn. This work ethic is shown in our live shows, which consist of anywhere from an hour to a four and half hour sets that the band routinely performs on time and on point. Rock and Roll is musical theatre, and we're the best actors around!
