.. Astrada was originally formed in the winter of 2006-2007 from ex members of the precursor band Of Flying and Falling. After securing a solid five member lineup the post-hardcore band began writing and playing shows, and were immediately met with greater success than previous efforts. Since its creation Astrada has shared the stage with phenomenal bands such as Emmure, Life In Your Way, Oh, Sleeper, Memphis May Fire, and Catherine, and continues to climb the ladder in the demanding and excting east coast music scene. As with all bands, challenges had to be faced and weathered. Astrada has had two dear friends and bass players leave the group, and are in fact searching for a replacement for our most recent bass player, Jordan Perrigo, who has just begun work on his solo project at www.myspace.com/jordanperrigo. Today, Astrada is a hardworking, determined group of champions committed to creating great music, putting on a great show, and supporting our fans, friends, and fellow bands in whatever ways we can.
