James Webb is a college professor and musician. So many songs have been written, yet so few have been written about science and astronomy. So Jim decided to start writing and singing astronomy songs, so he could have fun with his hobby (music) while still educating people. "Music is much easier to retain than learning things by brute force memorization. So if you can write a song about something, make the subject matter intelligent and deep, you make the tune pleasant and memorable, you win on all levels!" Dr. Webb does some open mics in Miami, has played at star parties and planetariums, and home recorded some "not quite professional" CD's, one of original and cover astronomy songs.
