"ATARY" was founded in 2003 by Stelios Kourtis and George Vasilas. The retro sounds of the 80's and the nostalgia for the romantic electric years brought us together to begin our music journey. The love for the analogue sounds of synthesizers has resulted in this unique mix of electro/disco/house music - Retrotech as "ATARY" called it. What is really unique of the band is the live performance, as they are playing only with synthesizers and hardware sequencers without the assistance of laptops or music software. "ATARY" is performing a pure live audiovisual show; improvisation is influenced by the energy, the feelings and the vibes of the crowd. During the years, many music enthusiasts and professionals worked with us and we're really glad for the cooperation. The music base of "ATARY" is Thessaloniki, Greece and during all these years several live shows were performed in festivals and in famous music halls. Moreover, "ATARY" travelled in many countries around Europe – Italy, Germany, Bulgaria and Romania. "ATARY" has released 4 Ep's and participated in various compilations for electronic music. "People Say" track has been included in the music compilation of Kid Antrim Music from New York.
