ATHEME ONE BIO:
Atheme One is a powerful showcase of Tuomas Seppäläs commitment to metal music. Finland has a strong track record of producing new intresting bands and Atheme One is proving to be One.
After 2 years as a keyboard player in Virtuocity (Spinefarm, Universal Records) Tuomas felt that he was not happy with his role in the band. He had composed music for many years and now it was time to make himself heard. Atheme One was founded in early 2005 and it was pretty clear from the start that the singer, drummer and bass player would also join from Virtuocity. They had such amazing chemistry. Keyboard player and second guitar player position was filled soon after that.
Atheme Ones music can be classified as melodic power metal with very rich chord harmonies and melodies. Backing harmonies have been used strongly on vocals and guitar melodies. The main sound of the band can be described as big, wide and warm. Songs are fast, punchy and straightforward, but at the same time you can sense something melodic, rhythmic and maybe even progressive feelings. Let us know what you think..!?!
