The Athlantis project born with a Steve Vawamas's idea, parallel of Shadows of Steel. In those past times, songs came out and in Steve intentions, he wished to create a sinphonic-Power kind of music, where every personage must be represents with several singers; by the way, he wanted the aim oh his project as greate friendship.
The teamwork with Wild Steel was fundamental whether the lyrics or songs arrangiaments and vocals.Chris Parisi, Liv Carson and Pier Gonella
had to give a special contribute with realizzation of this first work.
The choice of singers is not only for their talent but principally for friendship.Rob Tyrant and Wild Steel had the quality for the project realizzation.
The work in studio went on for a term of one year, then UNDERGROUND SYMPHONY keep the band for the New Sin Studios in Treviso.
Athlantis, Steve Vawamas's brainchild, (see also Shadows of Steel, The Dogma & Angels in Black) has just booked the "studio" to record a brand new album. The recording session will start at the end of August, and a new line up has been chosen (many "surprises" will be reveled soon). Steve sealed an agreement with Underground Symphony, who will produce the whole work.
