A Thousand Cures is Paul Macri (vocals) Luca Caracciolo (drums) Rick Beddia (guitar) and Dusty Emer (guitar/bass).
They have won numerous radio competitions including, Q107’s “Have a Nice Gig" contest where they later opened for Bon Jovi at the Air Canada Centre, as well the band appeared as one of the 97.7 Htz-Fm Rocksearch finalists in 2006. The following year the band also won the garageband.com faceoff beating out 35,000 entries in 2007.
In August 2008 the band got together with producer Mike Borkosky to record their first full length self titled album which later recieved awards for "best album" and "best song" at the OIMA (Ontario Independant Music Awards)
