A Thousand Cures have been around in the music industry for over a decade and each year they keep getting stronger! Original members include Paul Macri (vocals), Luca Caracciolo (drums) and Dusty Emer (guitar). They have won numerous radio competitions including, Q107's “Have a Nice Gig" contest where they later opened for Bon Jovi at the Air Canada Centre. The band also appeared as one of the 97.7 Htz-Fm Rocksearch finalists in 2006. The following year the band also won the garageband.com face-off beating out 35,000 entries in 2007. Recently the band collaborated with producer Mike Borkosky, to help reinvent the sound of the band, the result was very impressive. After a rigorous ten months of blood, sweat and tears, A Thousand Cures new album was born. Mike has produced the sounds of many other Canadian bands including, ill Scarlett and Low Level Flight. A Thousand Cures thrives on their passion for music and their love for original song writing. Their determination to be heard on a worldwide scale keeps their fire burning and nothing will stand in their way. They know the quality of their sound and are ready to take their music to the next level.
