There will be no fancy stories about how they met just a group of musicians that got together and make one hell of a rock band! Talented and unrelenting, they began writing and performing at the beginning of 2003, and instantly knew they had something special. Within months of their first show, A Thousand Cures emerged as one of the most skilled, creative, and ambitious bands in Toronto. As frequent headliners at venues such as Club 279 and Lees Palace in Toronto, the band has become well known for consistently drawing large crowds and delivering high-energy performances. Their debut recording The White Top EP immediately created a huge buzz around the city. In January of 2006, the bands hard work and talent was recognized as they were given the opportunity to open for one of the most popular rock bands on the planet: BON JOVI!!! And on January 21st, A Thousand Cures delivered an incredible performance in front of over 15,000 people at the Air Canada Center which drew enormous praise from the crowd, as well as Bon Jovi themselves! Subsequently, ATC was one of five bands selected by 97.7 Htz-Fm to play the Rock Search finals on May 13th, and ATCs feature song White Top Cadillac is being given regular airplay in the weeks leading up to the event. White Top Cadillac was also selected for top honors and inclusion two prestigious complication albums through Sonicbids: Best of the Best Inland Northwest and The best of DropHit 2006, both of which are being distributed at NXNE and other high profile events. In addition, the band was selected as one of the top artists on GarageBand.com, and is being featured on over 450 radio stations across the country owned by Clear Channel! A Thousand Cures has all of the elements required to achieve superstar status, and is already making noise through their hard work and dedication. This band WILL make an impact.

...congrats on the hangover..that usually means you had a good drinking nite...I always find that if you drink 2 glasses of water and take two Advils before you crash, it helps to avoid/reduce hangovers...
