Metal welcomes a new force of sonic display as the Ottawa, Ontario band Atma unleashes their debut six-song EP into the scene. This thirty-five minute independent effort represents the group's current artistic approach in fusing brutal aggression with accessibility. Moreover, Atma is a window into the minds of five talented individuals, exhibiting an almost unpredictable musical output - never satisfied with one stoic sound, but reinventing what is expected in the world of heavy metal. Lyrically, Atma unfolds stories that revolve around the constant motion of two elements that create an equilibrium: Love and hate, peace and war, life and death, and betrayal and revenge. Overall, the eclectic contributions of Atma breathe new life into the genre. Atma recreates the diverse poignancy of its music through their energetic disposition when they take the stage. The channeling of passion and zeal into every note defines the group's live performance as well as their image. Marc	Jun 15 2008 8:07 PM Wow guys, this new stuff is amazing! The keyboards really help a lot adding another dimension to the music, reminds me of 'Seventh Son of a Seventh Son' by Maiden... Good luck on getting signed and everything, the press kit is nice, I'm sure you guys won't have any problems. You can really hear the Nobuo Uematsu influence :P, you guys got me playing some of those old games again haha.

We play a style the varies from progressive to funk, the song on our myspace is more rock then prog but we got tones of prog sounding stuff, and wed love to play some shows with u guys. That's crazy because I tried that one a time ago too, the one I gave you, and it made me all angry because they were bad, and they didn't pay too good either they gavelike things and stuff instead of money. But however, the correct site is U L T R A 1 2 . C O M it's the one I am cashing $700 a week with putting in about 24 hours a week, even up to like 30 hours if I'm motivated. When you get your login make sure you sign up with with the companies on page one in the members area because they are the ones that pay the most, I got $50 for one that took me 25 minutes this morning. You'll see what I'm talking about when you start up. Brit started taking them too and she's cashing $900 a week, it's making me so angry because I'm the one that sinformed her which one to subscribe with now she's making bigger money than me. So me and Paul are getting geared to leave, just give me a call or I'll meet you on here and ask me if you have any problems. see ya!

I listen to your teaser almost daily, and seriously you guys cut some of those songs out at the best time, but also the worst because I wanted to hear more!
