Bio -- Atole started winter 1998- Manny Reyes was studying @ Hunter/NYC, making experimental scores for films as Atole. in 2000, Manny moved to Portland and started a live band that briefly included Chris Piuma. 2003 something weird happened- Atole became a quintet Theater ensemble- one Manny and 4 boomboxes! Each boombox had their own persona, playing different musical sounds. 100 shows and 2 tours later Manny destroyed all the boomboxes during an argument at a Live show- R.I.P. Boomboxes & Towne Lounge.
2006 Atole became a Live band- Tim Ferrell was the first New member on keys and programming; Mikey Conroy joined on drums Summer 2007; finally, Marius Libman (aka Copy) on electric bass late 2008! In 2009 Atole was signed to Audio Dregs Records with a debut LP coming winter 2010. "Strike Zone" 7 inch out soon on Community Library.
