This is The indie ZOMBIE flick Written and Directed By STEVEN C MILLER. Armed with his best friend and Executive Producer, MARK THALMAN, both set out to prove that you don't need millions of dollars to shoot a great Action/Horror film. Steven and Mark are extreme fans of the genre and are decicated to bringing horror back to the standards it once was.
Automaton was shot all over the sunshine state of Florida in 9 days and on a mere 30k budget. The film was made succesfully due to the hard working crew and heart of amazing young talent. All the of the post production was done here in California. JAMEY SCOTT, the musical mastermind behind 'GEARS OF WAR', composed the score and provided all original sound design for the film.
This is the first in a planned TRILOGY of horror films that will have you rethinking how independant cinema is made. Automaton will be hitting World Wide and also playing at a few FILM FESTIVALS this summer.

THE FILM SYNOPSIS:
In the early 1970s when everyone in America was worrying about what was going on in Vietnam, the United States Army was secretly developing a way to reanimate the dead. The hope was to have the dead fight instead of the living, but the experiments were shut down when the reanimated corpses were unable to control their hunger for human flesh.
Thirty years later the army has decided to reopen the project. Grover City, because of its remote location, would be the home of their main testing facilities. Without warning the experiments go horribly wrong in Grover City and the DEAD are now on the rampage, eating everyone in sight.
With the town overtaken by Zombies, a group of High School seniors take it upon themselves to fight back and find a cure for this deadly disease.
Automaton Transfusion is a non-stop adventure of four friends battling there way through swamps, forests, blood, and ZOMBIES to survive!
