Brian Bridges (electronics, vocals), Phil Grier (electronics). We've also collaborated with Steafan Hanvey, Donna Nikolaisen and Colm Tobin.
Influences
Nine Inch Nails, Kraftwerk, Cluster, John Cale for some chord progressions, Einsturzende Neubauten, Boards of Canada, Brian Eno, Depeche Mode, with Aphex Twin and Autechre for some occasional electronic noises, sample rate and bit depth reducing plugins
Sounds Like
a bit like Kraftwerk assimilating early Nine Inch Nails, with something soothing added to take the edge off...
Audogenic are a science-fiction pop/industrial band from Dublin.
Brian Bridges and Phil Grier met in the doorway to their college's studio early in the 21st century. Phil went on to co-produce an electronica album for Universal. Brian went on to do weird experimental music for lots of electric guitars and electronics. It began to make a bit more sense when they formed Audogenic.

Can really hear your more downbeat influences coming through on Departure Lounge 2120 - Eno, Boards of Canada and Alphawezen would all appreciate! Perfect music for isolating oneself from a crowded area and allowing a few moments for introspection. I look forward to hearing more. As soon as the show is up and running on AM and online, then your noise will definitely get a plug.
Thanks again for the add, by the way. And Brian, catching up with you in Cambridge, if at all possible, would be great - you could even guest a show with me if you felt like it.
Hope the inspiration flows - keep the Dublin scene very mcuh alive.
