Influences
Inspiration can come from the littlest things to the biggest things. Musically, I have been inspired by so many great musicians, that it is hard to pinpoint just a few. I find inspiration in many forms of music. From classical to Metal. And a lot of points in between. Some of my more recent influences include Strunz & Farah, Al DiMeola, Joscho Stephan to musicians like Lars Eric Mattsson, Dave Martone and Shane Gibson. Anybody that is innovative and original. Other musicians that have had a major role in my musical life have to include Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson and Marty Friedman.
Jason Becker has left an impression like none of the above. His strength and determination, tremendous talent and will to survive and continue his legacy has inspired me both musically and personally.
But if you want to get right down to the roots of my musical inspiration, there can be no other than the one and only, Yngwie Malmsteen. His music and discipline are the driving force behind why I play 10 hours a day. Why I give so much of myself to my music. Nothing has inspired or influenced me like he has. But does he inspire me as a person? I think not....

hell ya hope you do come down this year. I just went to a guitar shop and looked at a Fender GD8 its 200 bucks but it comes with a case, stand, tuner, extra strings, and 2 lessons. I would really like one with a cut out but not sure if i can afford it, any recomendatoins? My birthday is next week and I am hoping to get one.
DUDE i just listened to that new vid you got up!!! I know who i sound like now!!! YOU!!!! God i suck.....All my fast licks sound just like yours. Almost exact. Pretty scary but your sound has really translated into my playing from those years of learning and playing together. I wish i would have spent MORE time with you.
