Influences
Our main influences have come from attending various Northern club nights such as Shindig, Technique, Sugarshack to name a few.
As for DJs/producers we have gained influences from - Sasha, John Digweed, Dubfire/Deep Dish, Danny Howles, Adam Bayer, Stephan Bodin, Marc Romboy, Dabe Seaman, King Unique, Oliver Huntemann etc.
Tom Collingburn and Peter Kipling comprise the music production and DJ duo; AUTOPHASE. After forming in 2006, this Manchester based outfit have rapidly amassed an impressive itinerary of releases and remixes, receiving strong support from international headline acts as wide ranging as Paul van Dyk, John Digweed, Audiojack, Nick Warren Freeform Five and Eddie Halliwell. Any doubt of the combined talents of Tom & Pete were swept aside when their debut single, “Tinfoil” was snapped up by GLOBAL UNDERGROUND, and featured on the “Afterhours Ibiza” mix. Further releases on King Unique's [CURFEW] and ELITE FORCE's [U&A] respective labels not only reinforce the production qualities, but highlight the wide ranging appeal of the AUTOPHASE sound. With increasing exposure from their productions, the guys had the opportunity to play at some of the UK..s most elite club venues, the highlights being Tribal Sessions at Sankeys in Manchester. Tom & Pete have been involved with the UK club scene since the 90’s, and draw influence from the entire spectrum of electronic dance genres, combining tear-out techno with driving basslines, interlaced with melodic riffs and cheeky edits, AUTOPHASE make no apologies for bringing their hi-energy sounds to the dancefloor!
