Sean Scolnick, aka Langhorne Slim, is the modern answer to the folksingers who helped build america’s musical history, and is also one of today’s most beloved Folk- Rock’n’roll artists. During one of his many tours with the War Eagles, he found the time to hit Montebelluna’s Outside Inside studios to record these two brand new tracks, completely in analogic and in just a one-night span, produced by Matteo Bordin (Mojomatics), who is also a special guest musician on the recordings. It’s not a coincidence that Kristoffer Bolander’s voice is often compared to the old Grizzly’s. The band’s territory is country-rock ballads and lap-steel guitars, enriched by a modern approach to pop and indie-rock; that sort of alternative- country like no one makes anymore, in the vein of Wilco’s “Yankee Hotel Foxtrot” and Jayhawks, with personal and social conscious lyrics.
