-PROFILE-
神奈川県内の高校の同級生だった二人に長谷川が加わり、２００２年頃からavengers in sci-fiとして活動開始。
２００４年にミニアルバム「avengers in sci-fi」、２００６年に1stフルアルバム「avenger strikes back」をリリース。
２００８年にはライブ会場限定シングル「PLANET ROCK_CD」の発売をはさみ2ndフルアルバム「SCIENCE ROCK」がリリースされる。
ポップでありながら３ピースの概念にとらわれないサウンドを基本に、様々な音楽要素を吸収したスタイルは「ロックの宇宙船」と評される。ちなみに「アヴェンジャーズ・イン・サイファイ」と読む。
avengers in sci-fi formed in 2002, and has been playing around in Tokyo. Their live performances providing illusional auditory sense are in a word, just overwhelming. In 2007, they appeared FUJI ROCK FESTIBAL in JAPAN. Their sound is hard to think that it’s formed by three and draw listeners with their aery sound. Their style that uses only their effectors under their shoes bears distinctive sense of exaltation, floating, and swifting. “electric plus rock”, it’s unnecessary to say such a word. It’s impossible to categorize their music into something called genres. They will continue to absorb, assimilate, evolve and transmit the music flowing around the world.
