I first started making music back in '98 with a good friend of mine, Marius. We made some stuff together in Acid, simle loops- and samplebased experimental techno. In '99 I started making music with Fast-tracker II, more in the dream-trance and dance genre, and in 2002 I was introduced to Psychedelic Trance and Goa. I knew right away that this was what I wanted to do, and I've been doing it ever since. I get my inspiration from basicly everything from every genre, but mostly from oldschool psy-trance like the old Infected Mushroom stuff, Talpa, Nystagmus, Misted Muppet, Hallicunogen, and so on. During these years I've met up with Stein and Bjørn from Trold, Flips (label manager for Northern Psylight Records and former Trold member), and also Jos and Glenn from Heggmatech / Uruz & Ansuz, which all have helped and supported me a lot over the years, both technically and musically, and I owe a lot to them! I've played at a few local parties, as well as my first overseas gig in 2007, Lithuania (check out http://www.aviateweb.com for complete agenda). I produce psy-trance as Aviate, as well as chillout / psy-ambient under the alias Soul Expander.
