...Awakened Inferno consists of 4 different musicians of different genres diversing from Jazz to Metal. As a 2 piece with no name, Taz and Jacob did occasional jam sessions from 2006 and started getting serious at the end of 2007. During the start of 2008, Taz and Jacob decided that they wanted a full band together, so on a practice sometime in March 2008, Damien and Young Chan came along, striving to get a good setlist for Jacobs birthday gig on May 31st 2008. Then shortly played their 2nd gig on Friday June 13th 08...
After that gig, Awakened Inferno couldn't get a band practice due to schedule conflicts and personal problems. But that was sorted about 3 months later and Awakened Inferno worked on getting a solid set of originals down for their future gigs, and made that the first 2 gigs were just "practice ones".
Awakened Inferno Debuted into the metal scene of Christchurch on Saturday 28th February 2009 successfully with guests Satanic Tea Towel and The Chaos Theory.
Unfortunately, Young Chan left Awakened Inferno due to different inspirations, but was replaced shortly afterwards by Tom Humphries!
Awakened Inferno played the last gig with the 2009 Lineup on November 7th 2009. An end of an era it was, but now it's time to start the new era in Awakened Inferno with Alex Hutton on bass and Cameron Burnett playing session drums!!

Awesome thanks heaps guys. Unfort we kinda half based in London and half in NZ at the mo, so not sure when our next NZ shows will be. We got 3 coming up here in London though which we're very excited about!!!
