Ayota is the latest project
of keyboard player & producer Ski Oakenfull. Initially
inspired by a Japanese friend's book of Poetry entitled 'Kumorizora no
Helicopta',
Ski wrote soundtracks to three of the poems. This quickly developed into an album
project continuing a Japanese ambient theme. The result is 'Helicopter
Cuts' which is due for release on the label 'Third
Ear' in
early 2007. The Ayota project has also performed live at
both 'The
Big Chill'
& 'Bestival' and a tour is planned around the release.
Recently Ski has been putting the finishing touches to the second Ayota album,
entitled 'Kokoro', a track of which can be heard on the
music player above!
2007 is the year that I've finally got round to sorting out my own label ..'Primaudial Records'. All the releases can be bought exclusively from my online

I like your paning ambient pad sound in "centrair". oh and the gentle noise in "This World" that comes from left and moves to right. What synthesizer did you use for that? if you don't mind me asking... ummm so nice . . . I like you music.
very cool experimental sounds ayota. Check out the videos of the AntiVJ on my website.. quite similar. You might want to think about doing something similar with visuals if you aren't already.
