Just a quick little post, I've uploaded 4 out of the 5 songs off our mini album onto here, 2 are downloadable. Only 3 are up at the moment cos one is awaiting approval or something. Hope everyone's doing ok, JP's got an acoustic band thing going on at Eskimo Cowboy. Nothing much else going on except college, jobs and life at the moment.

November 2006 - Game Over

Hello everyone,

Thanks to everyone who came to our album launch gig at The Roadhouse and anyone who came to our Leeds gig recently. The people who came were lucky enough to witness our last ever shows. After 5 years together as Kid Conspiracy/Azure Glow we've decided to call it a day.

The reasons are a bit of musical and a bit of personal reasons but we've had a really good laugh and I'm sure we'll all definitely take a lot of good memories with us from this band. I'll post on here news of any other new stuff that any of us end up doing.

I'd personally just like to say thanks to the people who stuck by us and thanks to everyone who made this band worth something to us, you know who you are, and most are mentioned in the mini-album thanks list! We still have a few copies of our mini-album knocking about, so if you'd like us to post you a copy for £4, send us an e-mail at azureglow@ntlworld.com and we'll sort out the paypal details.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning we woke up to strange noises from downstairs to find three masked men bundling our new song out of the front door and racing away in a transit van. Having waited for what seemed like years, today we finally heard from the kidnappers. THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE CAN BE FOUND HERE: http://www.myspace.com/voteforbands Their ransom seems bizarre, but reasonable enough, they want you all to go onto their page and listen to the song, called 'An Honest Face'. If we get the most plays, our song is returned to us unharmed; if we don't, it will be culled along with the other losing songs in a grotesque animal mess. While you're there it's probably a good idea to leave an angry message telling them not to steal from lecartmanoo, be creative! First flooding and now this? It's been a rough few months for us.
