Backlash is a thrash metal band from Targu Mures, Romania. The band was formed in 2008 by Erdelyi Laszlo and Sime Emil. Szabadi Erno joins the band as the rhythm guitarist followed by Suciu Alex on drums and Szasz Tamas as the singer. With a stable lineup Backlash had its first concerts at the end of December. in 2009 Szasz Tamas leaves the band and Erdelyi Laszlo takes over vocal duties. Since then Backlash has had more than 20 concerts all around the country. With a sound combining the old thrash sound with newer elements, the band strives to create a new style uniquely their own.
