Having a Baditude is NOT a bad thing despise it's name. Look around you. Give the state of the world a couple of seconds of your thoughts... .... You done yet? Good. .... Now you know... Things aren't great... Things aren't good. .. Things are bad. .... The politicians are greedy and corrupt. .. The priests are desperately trying to hold on to the little power they have. When they fail they seduce little quireboys... The companys are not interested in bringing you good merchandise, good food or good clothes... They're only interested into making you a paying costumer. Preferably a costumer who likes his merchandise quick, fast and non-endurable... Turn on a commercial radio-station and you know what I'm talking about. .... What you need is a Baditude... The ability to observe and analyze the bad things that are brewing in our society... The ability to do whatever you can to stop it... The ability to say "fuck you" to the pricks that are trying to fuck you over...again and again. .... That's the lesson. Now think for yourself... ........ ..2. Energy - use it, don't abuse it.... You can waste your energy. Or you can channel it. We do it with music. .. You figure out your own way. .... Nevermind the physical formulas or what they tought you in class... Your energy is your and yours only to do with what you want... If you wanna waste it fucking around in shopping malls, beer-cruising or going to church, well then you've got a fucking problem... .... If you've got the Baditude you should know better... Use your right to vote... Use your right to shout... Use your right to write to the editorial pages... Use your right to free speech and fucking speak out. Loud. Now. .... The energy is there. Right inside you. The Baditude can help you to bring it out... ...... ..3. The reason Santa Claus and God are dead:.... We're all caveman at heart... What we can't explain we try to grasp anyway we can... In the very beginning there were many gods. One for the sun going up, one for the sun going down, one for good hunting, one for wind, one for fire, one for earth, one for water. .... Things that were just there. Like christmas parcels... And how can you survive without a delivery boy?.. So, if they ain't there we make them up... .... And as soon as someone makes anything up - you can make sure someone will step in to capitalize... .... God was a good thing..... If you were on the right side of his organization you were untouchable. You could have wealth and you could scare the shit out of people, burn witches and loot foreign countries without ever having to stand trial. Aw, you can still do most of those things actually. Religion is power - make no mistake about that. Male power. Nothing else... If you've got Batitude it's time to denounce those lies. Right now. .... Santa Claus was a good thing...... This delivery boy is actually quite the enemy to God. Santa is the saint of merchants all over the world. Instead of celebrating Jesus birth (if he indeed ever existed) we now celebrate the art of commerce... Shop 'til you drop the herald sings and we go for it every year... .... Fuck that. Use your Baditude and just fuck that. .... There is no Santa... There is no God... .... They are made up tools to make us servile and poor... You need to remember that. ...... ..4. Why punkrock is your saviour:.... It's easy, it's fun, it's brilliant and it's made up by a whole lot of Baditude... You just have to stop singing along to those horrible Britney-tunes... They're useless. They're trash. They're made for the cash... .... This is real music by real people... I'm not talking 'bout Good-fucking-Charlotte or Blink 18-fucking-2... Big -Company-high-school-drop-out-morons... .... Go buy some: Ramones, Bad Religion, Clash, Sex Pistols, Refused, Randy, Rancid,..... Thou willst be saved, my friend... ........ ..5. Reasons to have a Baditude:.... a) Everyone else is bad.. b) Baditudes are really really bad (in a good way)..... c) If you wont get angry, then who will?.. d) You'll feel better... e) Yeah, well... You don't really have a choice, do you now?.... --------------------------------......
