HI-Baltimore Hostel (re)opened its doors on July 1st of 2007. The past year we have seen people from all over the world coming through our doors and experiencing everything Baltimore has to offer. Located in the heart of downtown, the hostel is the perfect spot to check out the city and enjoy some great company!

We are proud to announce that we now offer 49 beds with the addition of our newly completed 3 bed dorm and double bed private located on our quiet and cozy lower floor. Our larger dormitory style rooms (12, 8, and 4 bed dorms) have a bathroom located in the room with the smaller dorm and private sharing a hall bath. The hostelis situated in a 19th century mansion. We are located in the heart of downtown, just seven blocks north of the Inner Harbor and two blocks south of the Washington Monument. We offer FREE pancake breakfast, $3 Thursday night pasta dinner, FREE movies and events, FREE Internet and WiFi, FREE lockers, and lots of other really great stuff.

Our dorm rates start at $25 per night plus tax. We offer a special group rate for groups of six or more of $22 per night plus tax. Every Morning, 8:15am to 10:30am – FREE make your own pancake breakfast. We provide the batter and the syrup, you do the rest!

Thursday Nights, 6:30pm - Join other hostellers for a pasta dinner, cook out, or make your own pizza! Share travel tales, make new friends, or simply enjoy some good food. Dinner is $3 to $5 depending upon whats being served.

Every Friday Night, 8pm - Movie Night @ the Hostel! Enjoy new releases and old favorites shown on the projector screen in our basement common room. As the weather gets nicer we will move the movie showings to our back patio. Sit out under the stars and enjoy a movie with some friends and new friends to be!

Everyone who likes something new, so they can come to our events!!

Peaceful travelers from around the world as well as our neighbors. The locals are welcome to come and hang out for events at the Baltimore Hostel.

Volunteers Needed for Artscape. Hello! I am looking for some volunteers to help with a Hostel exhibit at artscape. We are going to build a mock hostel room out of materials donated by the Loading Dock. The room will have bunk beds and be set up like a hostel room. People can come into the room, lay down if they want, get information about hostelling, etc. I am looking for people to: A) Help build the room B) Help staff the room to talk about how awesome hostelling and traveling is C) Help tear down the room If you are interested in any of these it would be great. Some sort of free food and probably free drinks if interested are in store down the line. It will be fun! We will be a part of a huge exhibit full of other grassroots nonprofit/art/community oriented projects in the parking garage across from the Charles Theater.
