Bama Bully Rescue, Inc is a non-profit, 501c3 organization with volunteers throughout Alabama that works with shelters and the public in finding homes for Pit Bulls that have been abandoned, abused, neglected, or fallen victim to other situations in their lives.
BBR strives to educate the public about the breeds true nature and encourages responsible ownership by offering training, behavioral and health care advice in hopes to decrease the number of Bullies that would, without such support, be relinquished.
Bama Bully Rescue is a volunteer-run organization with members located all across the state of Alabama. We do not have one central location or a kennel. The dogs listed on our site are kept in foster homes, however some of our urgent dogs are stuck in shelters in Alabama. We work with many different Alabama shelters to try and give these dogs a chance at finding a home instead of automatically facing the euthanasia table. At this time, BBR is the only Bully specific rescue located in Alabama.
While many of the volunteers do have much experience in Bully rescue, we still need help in our mission. We hope that you will support us in our mission whether its by donating, recommending us to your friends, becoming a foster home or volunteer, becoming a friend of BBR, or even joining us as a friend on Myspace.
If you are interested in donating to BBR, please click the PayPal link to donate via the web. If you would like to send a check or see what other types of supplies we could use, please visit our Donate page on our website. Of course, if you have any questions about how you can help...please e-mail donate@bamabully.org

Thirsty and in search of water, the camels converged on the community of Docker River. Instead of assisting the community by building barriers to keep the camels out of the township and investing in long term solutions such as research into birth control or the construction of a manmade waterhole for the camels to drink from, the government are planning to herd the animals away from the town, shoot them and leave their bodies to rot.
Despite the outrage of thousands of concerned people from around the world, the Northern Territory government has given the green light for the cull to go ahead and thousands of scared camels are now being annihilated by marksmen from helicopters.
Please click here to voice your opposition to the cull.
