FreeFall are a young and lively funk band who have been touring the great heights of Ceredigion, for a good few years now. Originally just a group of friends assembling with their various instrumental devices to participate in light-noisemaking, things soon developed for the band in a more promising direction. Aiming for the dizzy heights of total mish-mash of blasting brass harmonies, cool and collective drum beats and astute intriguing fretwork - FreeFall came into existence!
A little chronological report of things thus far…
Group officially formed. “Armada” demo album recorded, successfully sold locally. Won the Lloyds TSB In Tune with Wales Ensemble Competition.
Presented with a National Music for Youth Compositional Award.
Recorded “Shiny Things” follow-up album. Now aimlessly wondering the streets of Aberystwyth begging for gigs.
