BandHouse Gigs is a D.C. metro area production company that has been staging benefit and tribute shows in the area for four years. Beginning with their wildly successful tribute to Nils Lofgren at Strathmore Hall in 2004, the company has annually paid tribute to other musical legends like The Band (2005), Neil Young (2006), Bob Dylan (2007), and Joni Mitchell (2008). Along the way they have also played a part in benefiting and paying tribute to ailing local musicians like Wade Matthews and Darryl Jr. Cline. They continued the tradition by presenting their first tribute at The Barns at Wolf Trap in January 2008 to Nick Lowe. This November they present their second tribute at The Barns to Warren Zevon and plan to stage two shows a year at The Barns in addition to their yearly show at Strathmore.
