[2009]

The band is 10 years old! They celebrate this with a 31 station Hungarian tour which lasts from February to June. Almost needless to say that there will be some shows abroad. The show in Budapest in Dürer Garden was an important part of this tour, because a lot of songs were played in the original line-up from all of the released albums till now.
Insane got the highest appretiation by winning the Fonogram awards (the biggest Hungarian music award) with their last album Our Island - Our Empire in the category of best hard rock/metal album of the year.
The band made shows in 10 countries through Europe during the spring and summer of this year, we performed on already all of the hungarian festivals. The Our Island - Our Empire album get its second video called 33, which is played in the hungarian MTV and in the Baltic States.
In August Insane subscribed a contracting with the Life Burns Records from the United Kingdom. In October we start a hungarian tour with 16 stations.

The beginning of the year was the time for Insane to write the songs of the 4th LP. Meanwhile the concerts were going on. In March the guys started the recordings to do something really new. The burden was big enough because 3 years passed since the last record so the fans were almost starving to get something from the really different formation. In spite of the member changes they made a thought-out stuff were the melodies are more dominant so with this they can reach a wider range of audience, but those who know the band from the early times they also would not be disappointed, because the typical hard insane riffs are also there. Insane had a 40 stationed overall European tour conquering new countries like the U.K. and Greece and off course they could not be missed out from the main Hungarian festivals. In September the new music video was made for the song called Hocus Pocus which got the 2nd placing at the MTV rock chart what also can be seen in daily rotation. They plan the opening night of the LP in November with special amazements like they will play together with all of the guest performers live. At the end of November they will have an 11 stationed Baltic tour toghether with a Canadian band.

[2006 - 2007]

Insane summarized the most exciting year in its history, as they played 67 shows in 15 European countries sharing the stage with major headliners such as Soulfly, Sick Of It All or 4Lyn. In the first half of the year the shot of the second video came. The band's music was featured on an extreme sports DVD and on more compilation cds, while Insane was nominated to Viva Megawatt Award again in the category of "hope of the year" and "best modern rock act".
A new bass player, Bertalan Toth became a full time member and together with him, Insane did an interesting experiment, when they recorded and published an EP with remixes and songs in Hungarian language. In December, they headlined a club festival in Moscow, Russia. The band started a Hungarian tour for the occasion of their 8th birthday. In May a new singer was announced at a Dutch tour so onward he carry out the front member tasks. His first gig was as a guest of ILL NINO (U.S.A.) in Budapest in June.
The summer was full of concerts; the band played almost every Hungarian festival and participated on a lot of foreign program. In the course of autumn a tour came with PRO-PAIN (U.S.A.). Moreover a lot of club shows came on all over Europe.

[1998 - 2005]

Insane was founded by Gábor Érsek and Oszkár Knapp in 1998, in Budapest, Hungary. The first live performances started in 1999. In 2001 Insane embarked on their first longer tour and took part at bigger festivals like Sziget.
In January 2002 the band published the first LP. It had a positive feedback from the fans. On the release tour, Insane performed with the biggest Hungarian rock bands. It brought the breakthrough, and the band was added to the Hungarian professional music scene, so the guys were invited to all the bigger festivals and appeared more often on the music televisions. In 2003 they were able to make concerts abroad too. In the same year this formation took part at all of the big festivals and they became the most intensive live performance in Hungary.
2004 the second LP was released and generated honorable mention on the part of the industry and on the part of the fans as well. At this time the formation changed a bit, they got two new guitarists. 3 music videos from this LP were made. Thanks to their member-freshening they made a new EP. Because of the positive welcome of the EP the band kept on the new way and recorded the third LP in 2005. This year Insane was nominated for Best modern rock band of Hungary by Viva Television. The new LP attracted more public to the band. After the release they started the longest tour that Insane ever had until that time. The first part was a 25-30 stage Hungarian tour, what were followed by summer festivals (gigs with Napalm Death, Most Precious Blood, Diecast, Pro-Pain etc.) and was finished with a European tour. The first music video from the LP was made. Another big success of the band is that few songs from this LP were played on one of the biggest American internet-radio's metal station.

Dieses Jahr ist die Band 10 Jahre! Das wird mit einer 31 Stationen Konzertturnee im Inland gefeiert, was von Februar bis Juni dauern wird, aber natürlich werden nebenbei auch Konzerte im Ausland stattfinden. Eine schon vergangene Station dieser Reihe war das Konzert im Dürer Garten in Budapest, wo man Songs von allen bisherigen LPs hören konnte und zwar in original Aufstellung!
Die bisher wichtigste Anerkennung im Leben des Insane ist, dass die Gruppe für die LP Our Island – Our Empire den Preis des Fonogram dieses Jahr gewonnen hat in der Kategorie hard rock/metal Alben.

Der Anfang des Jahres verging mit dem Schreiben der Songs für den 4. LP. In der zwischenzeit wurden die Konzerte natürlich nicht gestoppt. Im März ist die Band in den Bakery Studio in Érd gegangen, um etwas schlagfestes auf den Tisch zu bringen. Trotz der vielen Wechsel unter den Mitgliedern schafften sie ein viel mehr reines Material, wo Melodien dominanter sind als je. Damit werden neue Schichten erzielt. Auch diejenigen werden nicht enttäuscht, die die Band schon länger kennen, denn die wirklich harten Riffe fehlen auch nicht.
Die Band ging auf eine Turnee mit 40 Stationen in ganz Europa, wo sie neue Länder wie zB England und Griechenland eroberte. Sie trat an allen wichtigen Festivalen des Sommers auf. In September wurde der erste Videoklip für den Song Hocus Pocus fertig, was in nur 4 Wochen den 2. Platz auf MTV Rockhart schaffte und auch auf der Jahresliste wurde er 6. Nach dem Vorstellen des LP im November kam es zu einer 14 Stationen Turnee zusammen mit einer kanadischen Band, was besser als erwartet lief.

[2006 - 2007]

Insane konnte ihr aufregendstes Jahr schließen mit insgesammt 67 Konzerten in 15 europäischen Ländern, zusammen mit Bands wie Soulfly, Sick Of It All oder 4Lyn. In der ersten Hälfte des Jahres wurde das zweite Klip des LPs King Of Fools fertig für den Song Last Lucky Day. Viva Fernsehen nominierte Insane wieder für den Titel „Modern Rock Band des Jahres im Innland” und „Hoffnungsband des Jahres”. Ein neues Mitglied, Bertalan Tóth kam in die Band für Bassgitarre. Mit ihm machte die Band eine Aufnahme in ungarischer Sprache.
In 2007 begann eine Turnee zum Anlass des 8. Geburtstages im Inland zusammen mit einer holländischen Band. Im Mai kam Bálint Molnár als neuer Sänger in die Gruppe, seit dem ist er die Frontperson in der Band. Bálint debütierte auf einer kurzen holländischen Turnee und im Inland in Budapest als Gast von ILL NINO (USA) im Juni. Die Band verbrachte den Sommer mit Konzerten. Sie waren bei allen Festivalen im Inland dabei und bei vielen ausländischen Veranstaltungen. Im Herbst nahmen sie an einer europäischen Turnee zusammen mit PRO-PAIN (USA) teil.

[1998 - 2005]

Insane wurde 1999 gegründet, Gründer der Band sind Gábor Érsek und Oszkár Knapp. In 2001 ging die Band auf die erste Konzertreihe im Inland. Danach kam es zur ersten selbständigen Turnee und Insane gelang es an größeren Festivalen (wie zB. SZIGET Festival) teilzunehmen. Die Gruppe bekam landesweite Bekanntheit.
Im Januar 2002 kamen sie mit der ersten LP raus, was eine Vorstellungsturnee folgte, wo die Gruppe als Gast von Tankcsapda, dem größen rock Band des Landes spielte.
In 2004 kam die zweite LP raus, was Anerkennung sowohl von der Branche, als auch vom Publikum gewann. Die Band erweiterte sich nach vielen Mitgliedswechseln zu 5 Personen. In diesem Jahr hatte Insane schon Konzerte in verschiedenen Ländern Europas. Sie machten drei Videoklips für die LP, welche auf Viva mehrmals gespielt wurden. Danach gaben sie die erste EP raus, was zwar nicht in den Handel kam, aber auf der ofiziellen Web-Seite erreichbar war und von mehrere Tausenden runtergeladen wurde. In 2004 nominierte Viva Fernsehen Insane für den Titel „Modern Rock Band des Jahres im Innland”.
Anfang März 2005 kam die dritte LP raus. Nach den Aufnahmen startete Insane die bisher längste Konzertreihe, welche das ganze Jahr über dauerte. Im Frühling begann eine 25-30 Stationen Turnee im Inland, danach nahmen sie an Sommerfestivalen teil, was mit einem ausverkauften Konzert in Budapest endete. Als Abschluss machten sie eine 3 Wochen lange Konzertreihe (in 11 Ländern). Das erste Videoklip des Albums wurde fertig, was mehrmals auf Viva und auf verschiedenen anderen Sendern gespielt wurde.

Idén 10 éves a zenekar! Ezt egy 31 állomásos hazai turnéval ünnepli a banda, ami februártól júniusig fog tartani, de persze lesz mellette egy-két külföldi koncert is. Ennek a sorozatnak az egyik és már lezajlott állomása volt a Budapesti koncert a Dürer kertben, ahol az eddigi összes lemezről előkerültek a dalok méghozzá az eredeti felállásokban!
Az eddigi talán legfontosabb elismerés az Insane életében, hogy a csapat megnyerte az idei Fonogram díjat az év hazai hard rock/metal albuma kategóriában, az Our Island – Our Empire nagylemezért.

Az év eleje a 4. lemez számainak írásával telt. Közben természetesen azért a koncertezés egyáltalán nem állt le. Márciusban be is vonult a banda az Érdi Bakery stúdióba, hogy valami ütőset tegyen le az asztalra. A sok tagcsere ellenére egy jóval letisztultabb anyagot készítettek, ahol a dallamok dominánsabbak mint eddig bármikor ezzel is új rétegekhez szólva. Ám akik régóta ismerik a zenekart, azok sem csalódnak, mert nem hiányoznak a kőkemény riffek sem.
A zenekar egész Európát átfogó 40 állomásos turnéra indult a lemezzel, újabb országokat is hódítva mint például Anglia és Görögország és természetesen az összes főbb nyári fesztiválok elmaradhatatlan szereplői voltak. Szeptemberben el készült az első videoklipp is a Hocus Pocus című dalra ami 4 hét alatt 2. helyezést ért el az MTV Rockchart-on illetve az éves listán is 6. helyezést ért el. A novemberben tartott lemezbemutatót egy 14 állomásos balti turné követte egy kanadai zenekar társaságában ami a vártnál is sokkal jobbra sikerült.

Az Insane eddigi legizgalmasabb évét zárhatta 67 koncerttel 15 európai országban olyan nagy zenekarokkal, mint a Soulfly, a Sick Of It All vagy a 4Lyn. Az év első félévében készült el a King Of Fools lemez második videoklipje a Last Lucky Day című számra. A Viva televízió ismét jelölte az Insane-t az "Év hazai modern rock zenekara" és az „Év reménysége” címre. A zenekarba egy új tag, Tóth Bertalan lépett be basszusgitáros poszton, akivel egy magyar nyelvű felvételt készített a csapat.
2007-ben a zenekar 8. születésnapjának alkalmából hazai turnét indított útnak egy holland zenekar társaságában. Májusban új énekes került a csapatba Molnár Bálint személyében, így innentől kezdve ő töltheti be a frontemberi szerepet a zenekarban. Bálint debütálása egy rövid Holland turnén indult, a hazai bemutatkozás, pedig Budapesten az ILL NINO (USA) vendégeként volt Júniusban. A zenekar a nyarat intenzív koncertezéssel töltötte. Ott voltak az összes hazai fesztiválon illetve jó pár külföldi rendezvényen. Az ősz folyamán, egy európai turnén vettek részt a PRO –PAIN (USA) társaságában.

[1997 - 2005]

Az Insane 1999-ban alakult, a zenekar alapítói Érsek Gábor és Knapp Oszkár.
2001-ben a zenekar első komolyabb országos koncertsorozata elindult majd létrejött az első önálló turné és az Insane eljutott a nagyobb fesztiválokra (pl.: SZIGET Fesztivál). A zenekar elérkezett az országos ismeretség szintjére.
2002 januárjában megjelent az első nagylemez, amit ország első számú rock zenekara, a Tankcsapda vendégeként lebonyolított lemezbemutató turné követett.
2004-ben megjelent a 2. nagylemez, amely mind a szakma, mind a közönség elismerését elnyerte. A zenekar sorozatos tagcserék után végül 5 tagúvá bővült. Ebben az évben az Insane már koncertezett Európa számos országában. A lemezhez 3 videoclip készült, amelyek a VIVA TV-n többször lejátszásra kerültek. Ezután következett az első EP, mely kereskedelmi forgalomba nem került, de a hivatalos weboldalról elérhető volt és több ezren töltötték le a dalokat. 2004-ben a VIVA televízió jelölte az Insane-t az "Év hazai modern rock zenekara" címre.
2005. március elején megjelent a 3. nagylemez. A felvételeket követően az Insane az eddigi leghosszabb koncertsorozatába kezdett, mely egész évben tartott. Tavasszal egy 25-30 állomásos hazai turné indult majd nyári fesztiválokon vettek részt ezt egy teltházas lemezbemutató koncert zárta Budapesten és végül egy 3 hetes európai koncertsorozat (11 országban) volt a végső az évben. A 3. album első videoclipje elkészült, amely többször lejátszásra került a VIVA TV-n illetve egyéb adókon.
