Quantcast

Barry Lamb emerged as an experimental music artist through the cassette culture of the late 70's & early 80's. He released several diy cassette albums of his own work as well as being a founder member of Frenzid Melon (1977 –1981) & the insane picnic (1981 – 1987). He played with progressive rock band Ermin Grud on their elusive and collectible private pressing album “the narrow path”. More recently he has worked with Keith Levene (ex-PiL and founder member of the Clash), former Frank Zappa sidekick Jasun Martz (who also played keyboards on Michael Jackson's album "Dangerous"), up and coming hip hop artist Tor Cesay and continues to work with long time collaborator Peter Ashby. Wonderful sounds!
Thank you for dropping by my little sketches, I have been meaning to check out your sounds since either reading about you in one of Toop's books or hearing your name in class.
