Born in Bruges,Belgium in 1964.Very Active on the Jazz scene since 1985.Leader of different "Quartets" & "Quintets"(see Discography),with whom he played on the major national festivals like "Jazz Middelheim ","Jazz a Liège",etc.He recorded 4 CD's as a leader with mostly original compositions.As a sideman,he has played in India (with Amit Heri & the Karnataka College of Percussion),Canada,USA,China, and in Europe.He is a member of the Brussels Jazz Orchestra(B.J.O.) since its foundation in 1993.With this Orchestra,he tours internationally, records and plays the music of and with Bert Joris,Frank Vaganee,Maria Schneider,Toots Thielemans,Kenny Werner,Dave Liebman,Bob Mintzer,Tom Harrell,Bill Hollman,Lee Konitz,Philip Cathérine,Kenny Wheeler,etc...He teaches Jazz Saxophone & Improvisation at the Conservatory of Ghent (Hogent.)
