Base Studios is a music studio complex based in Stourbridge in the West Midlands (UK). Providing excellent Rehearsal rooms available seven days a week, each room comes with air-conditioning, full P.A., equipped with drum kits and bass & guitar amps. On site there’s a Live recording Studio room for bands and musicians to make flash CD demos. We have a 64 track Digital Recording Studio for bands that are looking to record singles/albums and top producers to work with. Friday nights we provide performers with a fantastically versatile state of the art venue, full P.A., digital mixing desk and monitors, raised stage and backstage area with ample space for tuning up. The 200 capacity venue area is also available for hire for private functions and corporate events, includes a fully licensed bar with a range of bottled beers & ciders, soft drinks & mixers and branded spirits, a relaxing outdoor smoking area and plenty of room for customer car parking. Why Choose Digital Recording?
The benefit to recording digital: Multitrack your music one instrument at a time – the perfect solution for solo multi-instrumentalists. If you make a mistake, no problem, you can do another take. Your performance is not committed until you are happy with it. Your performance can be edited afterwards, eg: flex-time can correct out of time drumming and pitch correction can improve a vocal take. Span your recording over the length of time you’re happy with. More mixing time = more control over the finished product.

Booking a GIG SLOT at Base Studios

Booking BASE SESSIONS GIG SLOTS at BASE STUDIOS: Friday Nights 7pm-11pm £2 Entry (Performers free entry) We hold on Fridays (check gig listings incase of other BASE events) a night for songwriters, solo artists & bands. We invite the general public and people from the music industry to come down and watch. These include, venue promoters, agents, music video directors, photographers and radio presenters. Friday night at BASE STUDIOS is for ALL types of music. We offer six bands or solo artists a 15-minute slot, each which can be booked by calling 07976843718. We provide amps, drum kit (drummers need to bring breakables) and full P.A. system and light rig. Bands and solo artists need to turn up an hour at least before their booked time slot. This night is also ideal for some touring bands who need to add an extra date to their tour. When you ring 07976843718 give the Friday you would like to book a slot on and ask for one of the below slot times (down to availability). Slot Times for the Friday Night Base Sessions (call 07976843718) 7:30 - 7:45pm / 8:00 - 8:15pm / 8:30 - 8:45pm / 9:00 - 9:15pm / 9:30 - 9:45pm / 10:00 - 10:15pm Bar opens at 7pm. From £2 a pint.         Dave Alvin, one of the original Blasters, hits the stage with his Guilty Women this Thursday night! Joining the line up are the fantastic Zola Moon and Mighty Blue Mojo!
