Dropping by to say Hi. Nice to have you as one of our new peeps, Bashd! The Inside Story newspaper, Queer West Village, Toronto Ontario. Don Quixote, editor in chief.
I saw the show again today and it was even better the second time. I laughed. And I teared up even more--had to fight to keep from bawling. It's truly a powerful show that hits me (and others) in the gut and the heart.
I loved the Gay City review--it says a lot of the things I felt about the show. You have created something so spectacular that I'm not certain I possess the words to completely describe it. That review does a great job of explaining why your show (and performances) are so brilliant.
It's rare that a piece of theatre knocks us out of our chair--and we live for those experiences. Theatre that changes our life a little (or a lot). You've done that for me and I thank you for it.
HEY HEY HEY!!! SHOW THE SHOW YESTERDAY IN THE VILL. I WAS THE GIRL WHO GAVE THE STANDING OVATION IN THE RIGHT FRONT ROW WITH THE RAINBOW SHIRT ON (BUT OFCOURSE).LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED THE PERFORMACE AND THE MSG. RECOMMMENDED IT TO ALL MY FRIENDS. YOU GUYS HAVE ENERGY LIKE I NEVER SEEN. KEEP THOSE VOCAL CORDS UP AND KEEP SPREADING THE WORDS.BOTH HAVE AMAZING TALENT. GOOD LUCK
I saw the show this evening and was so touched! I feel blessed to have seen such a poingnant, sweet piece of theatre behind a backdrop of music that is usually so hard. Thank you for the opportunity to see this show! Also, Nathan (the one with the hairy chest??) is unbelievably cute!! :) Thanks again, and best of luck!
I saw the show tonite in NYC and was just blown away. I think it's fucking brilliant. I always believed that rap could be a thrilling genre for musical theatre and Bash'd takes it there and then some. Bravo to Nathan and Chris for such extraordinary work.
