I always tell people that my prices are probably the best prices around, but if you can find someone doing the same setups for less, let me know, and I'll match, if not beat their price....These prices include all the parts(bulbs, ballast, projectors, labor) I would just need your lights in order to retrofit them. The whole process usually takes me about 2-3 days to complete and ship back out.

About me: Hello to everyone who visits this page. I'm Brian aka Prelude1897 on all the Honda boards that I visit. Well, as some people know, I do retrofits for anyone who is wanting to upgrade thier lighting at night. I've been doing this ever since I bought my 2nd Prelude back in 2003. I got the idea from a fellow Prelude owner(Mike) because he had them on his car and they just looked amazing, but after he told me how much he had paid for them, I just threw the idea out the window until I discovered how to make them just by looking at his lights.
A few months later, I got a used headlight and experimented with that. I'll admit, it wasn't the prettiest thing ever, but it worked, so I moved on to doing them to my regular lights. Once I started, there was just no turning back. About a week later, I finally finished my own set of retrofits. I was very pleased at the time, but they still just didn't do justice to what Mike's lights looked like, so I got rid of those lights and tried again with a different pair. I meet up with Mike again to look at his lights from front to back to get an idea in my head on how to complete the retrofits, cause there were no write-ups anywhere at the time, so it was basicly try and try again and don't mess up.
After about the 2 or 3 sets of lights that I retrofitted, I started to get the routine down on how to complete the retrofits. People were really liking them, and my skills became better and better after each set until now cause I pretty much have it nailed on how to make them and look great at the same time. Now, it seems that my name has spread quite a bit accross alot of Honda boards which is amazing and I never thought that this would ever happen. All I can say is Thank You for all the people who put trust in me for working on their lights and trusted me in hacking up a $500 pair of lights and making them look better than before. If anyone out there ever needs a retrofit done by me, just let me know. You can even google my screen name "Prelude1897" and threads with pics of my work along with comments about my work will pop up. Once you go HIDs, you'll never go back. If anyone has any questions for me about retrofitting, just let me know, and I'll be happy to answer them for you. To contact me, you can email me at romanticpimp@hotmail.com or just leave a message on this siteFor an E46 setup, it'll be $600+shipping a TSX setup, it'll be $700+shipping., RX300 setup, will be $700+shipping FX/G35 setup will be $750+shipping,, E55 Bi-xenon setup will be $780+shipping. S2K setup-$950+shipping
These prices include all the parts(bulbs, ballast, projectors, shrouds, and labor) I would just need your lights to complete the retrofit. I also provide clear lenses to replace any projector that come with Fresnel lenses for only $60 extra. Some projectors such as FX or G35 projectors will come with Fresnel lenses, but once you add clear lenses to them, the cutoff will be more colorful and sharper than the factor projector lenses. If you are needing/wanting to do a payment plan, I can set that up for you. Just requires a $75 non refundable deposit to get started. Once your payments are complete, I'll have your retrofits finished. The whole process usually takes me about 2-4 days depending on how many sets of lights I have at one time, so it may take a little longer. Some differences between each projector is that the TSX's have a wider light output, more blue/purple color flicker, and sharper cutoff. The TSX setup is a pretty popular setup everyone is wanting.
Nahh, just outside because i'm wanting the same color. The last owner thought she was cute and tried to "repair" it with purple nail polish :/ oh its a s2000.. its in my pictures
bro i don't have the shop anymore i was losing some tools so i left but my friend has it now I can ask him to let me borrow it. just give him a couple of bucks
well thats good, i am doing good. enjoying my baby girl, and getting for christmas. we are goin out of town to san antonio to visit family for the holidays. since i am not working right now i have the vacation to go where ever. lol well glad to hear you are doing good. Dont you just hate when peolpe whine all day long, its like you are taking on costumers and employee's.. I hear you on that one. Well keep in touch. take care
Nah....The main reason why i am not getting retro is. I slid into a curb and have to change out my whole passenger side suspension plus some bondo work on the rear quarter plus pulling it out a bit. I go for performance first then looks lol. Im in the proses of gathering parts for an allmotor ls/vtec with ctr pistons on ls rods with arp rod bolts etc etc. Still deciding what head to run, either a b16 or an gsr head.
Struggling to find. A catalytic converter for a 98 lude. Can ya help me? Im in CA. Just can't find one anywhere besides dealer 900 bucks ahhhh. I would even take used, i just need it to pass smog and sell my prelude. Sorry to bother you!
yeah i figured that it takes a whille and alot of knowledge to retro headlights...............i was just wondering why and who its all done. I peeked trough youre pictures and it does seem hard to do it. Nah i am not interested in getting retross cuzz my car is no op right now.
i have a 00 civic i would like for you to do a retrofit on. being a h3 bulb. i would like high beam and low beam on the same projector. hit me back up on prices.
The owner had the car for 36 hrs hydro planed and hit a median and tore up the under side of the car engine, trans grind on second gear, and the oil pan is cracked along with one rim. Also need the control arms on both sides replaced. 5sp 225,000 miles engine. There's more problem i dont know about.
