Jasper TX (Sweden), with a hefty back-catalogue of releases on labels such as Miasmah, and collaborations with buddy Machinefabriek, is an essential domestic appliance in the household of conceptual music. He is comparable to artists Fennesz, Sigur Ros, Múm and Tape.
Intricate and atmospheric songsmith, Danny Saul (UK) performs with different combinations of musicians, making each gig a unique event. His forthcoming release is "Harsh, Final", and he also performs with Greg Haines as Liondialer.
Fieldhead (UK) music delights in tape hiss, bleak landscapes and decaying analogue loops. He is also a member of The Declining Winter and Glissando. His debut album, "They Shook Hands for Hours" is released soon on Home Assembly.
This is the first set from the slightly tweaked Beach Fuzz line-up with Fliss Horrocks now playing guitar. Seven tracks of clattering drums, chugging and wailing guitars, screaming keyboards, mellow, lilting pastoral improv and moaned vocals.

Trespassers William (Seattle, US) are the duo of Matt Brown and Anna-Lynne Williams. "Subliminally sublime and pragmatically perfect, you would have to possess an ashtray for a heart not to feel this coursing through your soul" (DSD Music Magazine). A new EP, The Natural Order of Things, is set to be released on Gizeh Records. They will make a church performance with special guests.
Glissando (Sheffield, UK) “have the kind of atmosphere that can captivate and relax in equal measure- never before has tranquillity sounded so urgent. While track lengths of over 10 minutes may fail to hold the attention of the ADHD sufferers among us, with patience it plays like a majestic dream. And it's one you'll never want to wake up from." NME
Operations (Chris Anderson) is a Manchester based conceptual music producer and sound artist. He performs and records with an array of analog synths and effects, reel-to-reel tape and casette players, and guitars. Followers of Tim Hecker, Slowdive, Fennesz, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Stephen O'Malley, Type and 12K Records will surely nod in approval.
m o t h e r f u c k i n g (lyon, france) Gael and Julien are some bad mothers and they don't mind licking the mixing bowl. They trade minds and can multiply a single gram of thought into the grand canyon of sound, drifting on beamed out, triple-glazed drones. Bright, colourful and jumbled. Considered explorations of sound and comatose rampage, the blueprints already got shredded. Come flip out on their eternal nosebleed as the cogs of logic and reason turn to Slinkys.
s t u c k o m e t e r Manchester vets that have drifted all over are back to revisit their occasional beast. Free rock and rolling drums with guitar and bass that leap octaves and scatter around like roaches in a 10w bulb bathroom. An abrasive, deconstructed, 4-way Rubik's cube; A real winner.
t r o p h y w i v e s MJ and JR put the whippy into the scoop with bust knuckle drum-drums and the honkey tonky nothing bonanza, dead in the face and blue in the throat.

Svarte Greiner (Deaf Center/Miasmah/Type) explores deep into a dark,
mysterious and disturbing universe. Drawing inspiration from artists
such as Earth, Volcano the Bear, David Darling & Deathprod, the
music is draped in Lynchian mysticism and horror film cinematics. "The
music of Svarte Greiner is practically perfect. It's like that sound in
our heads we've been imagining for ages but had never actually heard."
- Type Records.
The Sight Below (Rafael Anton Irisarri/Miasmah/Immune) draws as much on
modern genre progenitors like Brian Eno, Robin Guthrie and My Bloody
Valentine as it does from the more historic traditions in
neo-classicism from Erik Satie and Olivier Messiaen. His album Glider
has appeared on Thom Yorke's radar in making the Radiohead's lynchpin's
top ten playlist.
His debut album Navigare soon to feature on the Miasmah label, Simon
Scott (former Slowdive) is set to be a household name in conceptual
music. Simon is the former Slowdive drummer, co-producer of Televise,
producer of Seavault, and owner of KESH Recordings label.
Sometimes an album comes along that just sweeps us right to those endless summer nights where lying back on the still-warm grass, we realize the scope of inverted abyss in the sky above and breathe deep in awe. Rambutan’s ‘Broken Infinity’ is just such a listening experience. Crafted by the hands of the poly-talented Eric Hardiman of the Tape Drift label & Century Plants/Burnt Hills fame, this solo release is filled with aching intention and eye opening wanderlust. Past Rambutan releases tend toward carving out crushing scoops of night-tinged tones with his nimbly-processed six string. That wall-of-guitar power is also found here, but additionally Eric investigates stretches of glassy vibrato downpour & spooked twilight sustain. It’s relieving to find compositions willing to breathe like this, balancing dark and dominant outer forces with the levity of an inner infinite impulse, broken as it may temporarily be. Hand numbered edition of 100 painted cdrs with full color sleeve & insert card in vinyl jacket.
