Beati Mortui combines dark electronic atmospheres and danceable beats with diverse female vocals to express landscapes of life and the many sides of it.
Call it mix of hellectro, industrial, ebm, gothic or whatever.. Only goal of this band is to make you confront yourself and start the battle to survive as a winner by extreme soulwashing for which they have provided soundtrack since year 2005.
During winter 2006 and spring 2007 band selfproduced and released their first 6-song promotional cd called Modus Operandi. Due to great response on field and good success on Sonic Seducer..s Battle of The Bands 2007 as receiving second position, Beati Mortui was happy to sign for Danse Macabre early 2008.
Band released their first full-length album "All But Dreams Will Die" in May 2008 and is now promoting the release, creating new material for second album and performing live shows!
Their first live appearance was at Wave Gotik Treffen 2008 in Leipzig, Germany and after that at Lumous Gothic Festival in Tampere, Finland. Then they were to experience first show at their original home city, Helsinki, in Finland 15.08.2008 when Club Synapsi presented one night celebration of Hocico, Beati Mortui and Machine park.
In October 2008 Beati Mortui was on Tour in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands as a supporter for Das Ich with another german/greek act, In.line.seX.terror! Currently Beati Mortui is composing new material for their next release and planning for upcoming shows. So keep an eye on them!!
