BEE-315 is a Japanese rock trio. Formed in 2004, the band consists of RIU(Bass & Vocal), KAWASAKI(Guitar & Vocal) and KENTALOW(Drums & Chorus). Their blood type is B and the meaning of BEE-315 is "Blood type B is the best!" (the pronunciation of ‘three, one, five' is the same as ‘the best' in Japanese). They use numbers in their band's name like blink-182 and Sum 41, which they like. Their early work was strongly influenced by pop punk/pop rock. The band has adopted reggae, emo or hip-hop, venturing into a variety of other genres. The band's songwriting and production is driven by a pop sensibility. RIU is also the member of a Japanese famous visual band, metronome and KAWASAKI is the member of a Japanese rock band, Barbell.
