"... they achieve something very difficult in songs that lack that sort of verse/chorus structure, which is to really build songs up...Finally, a band with an interesting take on melodic death metal, and a new look on doom/death."

"This is an extraordinary debut... raucous, epic and glorious."
A dark, melodic death metal band from Melbourne, BE’LAKOR has quickly come to be regarded as one of Australia’s most promising and creative metal acts.
Two years elapsed between the independent release of their 2007 debut, "The Frail Tide", and the release of the follow-up, "Stone's Reach." During this period the band’s international reputation grew rapidly, largely on the back of high acclaim from reviewers and the word of a dedicated and ever-growing fan base. Drawing influences from the natural world and the perpetual struggle between destruction and life, Be’lakor creates songs that take the listener on a compelling journey.
Be'lakor's highly anticipated second album, Stone’s Reach, was released on June 20, 2009. The band ventured across Australia for the first time in support of this album, taking in performances in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane & Sydney.

I do my best to enjoy all the songs on an album (this isn't pop haha) but Venator would be one, a very nice transition shortly after the start.
Aspect is a favourite as well, I like songs that encompass different speeds sounds, give a better representation of imagination.
But still it's all good, keep it pure and it'll stay alive (y)
