Influences
We have a variety of influences. We take aspects from all kinds of music from Traditional Celtic to Swing to Bluegrass to Disco and Classic Rock. We're pretty much influenced by everthing that's out there.
Sounds Like
Gaelic Storm meets Great Big Sea meets Black 47 who's dating The Old Blind Dogs on the side
Belfast Gin falls into a music category that we’d like to consider “Twisted Traditional”. We are a seven-piece Celtic group with kit drum, electric and acoustic guitars, bass, fiddle, tin whistle/flute and vocals. A high energy Celtic group, Belfast Gin creates a unique sound to the Celtic genre with an emphasis on searing vocals and an almost classic rock feel.
Bootleggers everywhere, it's time to make a run!!!

Hey, thanks (especially to Laurie) for playing Paddy Murphy for me--and for throwing in the "Oi!" for extra umph--last Saturday at Mort's. I always appreciate it when you guys play Lansing. Oi! Roger
Great show on St. Paddy's day! Hope I didn't damage your amp when I found standing under the weight of many Guinness to be quite impossible. And thank you Laurie for helping my big Irish butt off the ground. Also, thanks for putting my name in "More Beer" it made me think "aw, she does know me..." lol.
