   About Belvedere Mountain Express

Belvedere Mountain Express is the musical project of the Edinburgh-based composer Howard Goodman.

We have CDs for sale! Visit our website www.pigeonhouse.com

The latest incarnation of Belvedere Mountain Express consists of Howard on electronics and accordion, and Becky Rose Jones on vocals.

In 2009 as part of a small side-project, the Edinburgh-based poet Juliet Wilson has added some spoken-word texts to some older Belvedere Mountain Express instrumental pieces.

The earlier incarnation of Belvedere Mountain Express featured Vicki Giblin on vocals/lyrics on about a quarter of the tracks, the remainder being instrumental. We released two full-length CDs, A Vow in the Blue Belltower in August 2003, and Through Sulph’rous Night in January 2005.

I am still open to offers of collaboration, though, especially with singer/lyricists who can work with my music.

Hiya,

Thanks for adding me, and for looking me up after listening to Late Junction, 13 minutes of BBC airtime! Woo Hoo!

In answer to your comment about me giving the album away for free, I figure it's best to get as many songs/CDs out there as possible, you know, until I find a label, publisher etc...

BB

Enjoying your tunes, stay in touch.

I was trying to identify the street in the photo you sent me. Is it the Pleasance? I see Salisbury Crags and Arthur's Seat in the background and I feel really homesick. Maybe I'll get back to Auld Reeky someday!
Cheers
Fergus
