Things started getting out of control in 2010 when Benji guided 17,000 revellers into the New Year at the London O2 Arena, alongside Deadmau5, Justice and Calvin Harris. Things have been getting pretty crazy since then.
2011 has seen Benji remixing Fatboy Slim, Chromeo, DJ Shadow, Chiddy Bang, Rizzle Kicks, Kidda, Pixie Lott, Pusha-T, Beardyman, Foreign Beggars, Nelly Furtado and to top it all off his Little Dragon remix reached #4 in the worldwide Hype Machine charts. Impressed yet?
His debut album “Beats, Treats & All Things Unique” was released worldwide on June 20th 2011 on Brighton based label Tru-Thoughts. Collaborating with the legends that are Maxi Jazz (Faithless) & Ricky Rankin (Roots Manuva) its no wonder it has been supported across the thee BBC Radio network and lead to Benji being described by MOBO as...“someone who breaks the mould.”
And as you guessed it, Benji is becoming a regular on the UK festival scene with some unforgettable shows at Bestival, Glastonbury, V Festival, Secret Garden Party and more. So its no surprise his tour this year stretches from here to Hong-Kong. Its clear Benji is going global!

Benji describes his show as "Completely improvised, off the cuff, live remixing,” adding that when performing he truly has no idea what he’s going to do next. His set-up is a sophisticated arsenal of gadgets comparable to the flight deck of the Star Ship Enterprise, allowing him to re-invent any tune into something completely new.
So maybe ‘DJ’ is the wrong way to define him. Giving the epic journey he takes you on during his live show, ‘interstellar adventurer’ would probably be more fitting!
