I feel that I should say that I'm not always completely drunk, just the last two times I've seen you and Jen. Normally I'm quite lucid, erudite and charming.
Hey Bertel, Long time no...you know. Your player thing seems to be saying 'loading error'. I was hoping to listen to some actual good music as per usual. ALAS! Any road I have put up some new stuff... a new version of 'charming mary' on this page, but 3 new ones on www.myspace.com/benparkerben check them out if you fancy a listen at any point.

if you think that gigging system in UK should change for better! (copy and paste link in address bar, and click on 'join group'.)
The group is a dialogue space between bands and promoters, so we can find a solution to otherwise very unsatisfying scene in UK (mainly London), when bands play for free and are asked to do their own advertising, and promoters don't promote. Right now everybody seems to be dissatisfied with the outcome.
Right now promoters emphasize that promoting is hard work, so they're not making much out of it, and therefore bands can't expect to get paid..
But why bother doing it if you don't like it? We all work hard. Have you heard of a guitarist moaning about amount of pedals he has to use to get that particular sound, or a singer complaining about the amount of lyrics he/she has to remember? Or about scales to master, or hours of daily (unpaid) practise, speaking of it?
What's up Bertel, long time no type.
What's new in the going's on over there
in Kingston? What are you and Jenn doin
for employment? Do you guys see Amanda much...I still haven't sent her a wedding gift crap I've gotta do that...
howdy! i still remember the joni mitchell song you covered at the biddle bros. awhile back. funny how i remember random things like that, though i'm horrible with names. hope your shows are going well. i've got a couple shows lined up...be nice to see some familiar faces again!
