Best Of Times is an independent, DIY promotions company and record label. The initial idea for Best Of Times began in 2003 when I (Mike) and a friend decided to put out a record. Later that year, we released THAT WAS THEN's "It's All Been Said Before" 7inch. After that effort, which I was and still am very proud of, the combination of working 20-30 hours a week, being a full time college student, and booking hardcore shows got to be quite the burden on my shoulders, and the label aspect of Best Of Times began to take a backseat to booking shows as I became more active as a promoter. To keep the name alive, I started billing my shows as "Best Of Times presents" and it stuck.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WHEN CONTACTING ME THAT BEST OF TIMES IS A ONE MAN OPERATION. I WORK FULL TIME, BOOK SHOWS, AND DO ALL OF MY OWN MAIL ORDER. PLEASE DO NOT BE OFFENDED IF I DON'T GET BACK TO YOU. I HAVE A WHOLE LOT ON MY PLATE AT ALL TIMES. I TRY TO HELP OUT AS MANY BANDS AS I CAN, BUT I REALISTICALLY CANNOT DO A SHOW EVERY OTHER NIGHT. ALSO, THE VENUE I WORK WITH BOOKS ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY ON WEEKENDS, SO PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND AS WELL. THANK YOU.
