Bridging the gap between alternative culture and the acoustic singer / songwriter genres, Beth Ryan is the brightest (darkest?) new hope for the UK’s burgeoning independent scene.
Originally from Kent, Beth began professionally training her formidable vocal talents from an early age, earning positions as a lead soprano in choirs booked on international tours. Since then, she has turned her attention to her own material and created a combination of sounds and approaches that are undeniably her own.
Calling on inspiration as varied as Evanescence, Sting and even Strapping Young Lad, her writing reflects her involvement in the darker aspects of modern alternative music as well as the more established acoustic scene.
Beth will shortly be entering the studio to record her first official EP and will be appearing nationwide in support of the release in 2009.

Thanks for the add, and i'm not sure if you rank your songs, for submission to record labels, but if you do "Fields of Gold" is one i would thing about submitting, Very good song wow!!!!!
